Kosciusko County, Indiana

Frankie A Elliott - Hillcrest Cemetery
It is often said that all good things must come to an end.  Sadly, my husband and I recently left beautiful Salt Lake City and the largest genealogy library in the world, and relocated to Warsaw, Indiana, where he will be working for a medical device company.  Fortunately, Warsaw is 45 minutes away from Fort Wayne and the Allen County Library, which houses the SECOND largest genealogy library in the world!

Before I make my first trip to the Allen County Library, I must finish unpacking.  As of today, I have 16 boxes left.  My progress had been slowed due to a few trips to Hillcrest Cemetery in nearby Pierceton, where I have taken pictures of headstones to fulfill requests on Find A Grave.com.  I have also visited the Warsaw Community Public Library and met a great bunch of people at their Genealogy Club which is led by Teresa Crews.

My unpacking was most recently interrupted by my visit to the Kosciusko County Old Jail Museum & Genealogy Library, which also serves as the headquarters for the Kosciusko County Historical Society.  I will definitely be going back there!

Well, I have to get back to unpacking now.  No more interruptions!
